Spruce top, Brazilian rosewood sides and back, original untouched french polish of shellac, original Rodgers tuning machines with Panormo style plates. All original, no cracks or repairs, but there is playing wear and some handling wear in the form of visible scratches mostly on the soundboard which in no way affect the musicality nor longevity of the instrument. The internal bracing pattern of this instrument is identical to the second Bruné (No. 418) which was owned by the late Andrés Segovia. A bold, bright and exceptionally clear instrument with very quick response and easy action, the guitar has great color and usable dynamic range. Current action is 4 mm on the bass and 3 mm on the treble measured at the 12th fret, so the instrument can be really driven to produce outstanding projection to the largest concert hall without losing any clarity.
