Considered one of the leading guitar makers of Madrid during the 20th century, Bernabe was one of the major designers of the Ramirez 1A model, used by Segovia. His instruments are sought after by performing artists, and highly valued for their clear tones and powerful sustain. Despite the slightly longer scale, it has an exceptionally comfortable neck that makes it easy to navigate the most difficult passages.
